Phillip Treacy hat
Brides-to-be can join milliner Isabel Benavides at the Museum of London's Fancy Fascinators for an introduction to the history of hat-making and a chance to make their own headdress on Saturday 10th July.
You'll get to enjoy a gallery tour of the hats on display in the Galleries of Modern London including the specially-commissioned Pleasure Garden hats designed by top milliner Phillip Treacy.
A practical workshop will take place to give you the opportunity to design and make your own fascinator using a range of materials including veiling, wire, petals, feathers and ribbon.
The Museum of London opened the Galleries of Modern London in May with the Georgian Pleasure Garden being one of its highlights. The space is complete with trees, a pavilion, park benches and costumed mannequins wearing hats designed by Phillip Treacy.
A place at the event costs £15 and advanced booking is required. It starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm.
