6. Don't tell suppliers - firms seem to add extra charges
once they know you're enquiring about a wedding. Try to agree fees
before you tell them the occasion.

7. Cut price photography - hire a photographer only for the formal photos, and let your guests take all the snaps at the reception.

8. Phone a friend - do you know any florists/musicians/photographers/hairdressers or someone who owns a flash car? Get your friends involved; they'll be thrilled to help out.
