To celebrate taking on the stunning Norwood Park in Nottinghamshire, first-class caterer and hospitality management company Maverick is offering brides savings of £1,000 for weddings taking place on Fridays and Saturdays between January and March 2009. On top of that, any bride wishing to marry during the week, i.e. from Monday - Thursday, will only have to pay a venue hire fee of £900 - that's a saving of £1,300! (This offer applies to both packages and the bespoke service.)

Maverick will be introducing seasonal menus at Norwood Park as well as an excellent wedding planning service to all brides who book their big day at Norwood Park from now on.

Norwood Park is set against 175 acres of parkland beautified by ancient oaks, a tranquil lake and apple orchards. This Georgian stately home in Southwell is the perfect setting for an elegant wedding ceremony and reception. An impressive 18 hole golf course and practice area, beauty therapist, spa treatments and fruit farm can also be found on the estate.

The bespoke wedding service caters for intimate wedding parties of 90 guests or less, while three wedding packages - the Sir John, the Sir William and the Sir Randle - are available for 90-150 guests. Each package includes exclusive use of the Georgian house and grounds, a three course wedding breakfast, floral arrangements, three tier wedding cake and champagne reception drinks.

The Sir John package provides light bites during reception and the Sir William and the Sir Lewis Randle incorporates live music for the reception, delicious canapés, evening buffet and a spectacular firework display. Special moments of the day are captured by a skilled wedding photographer as the wedding party enjoys the surroundings of the gardens at Norwood Park.
