Bridalmums.com is a new website aimed at mothers of the bride, or groom.
Its key feature is its search function, listing all mother-of-the-bride
hat and outfit shops across the UK. You can use the map function to
search by region, county, or by products, making finding the perfect
outfit easy and stress-free.
In addition, it has a review system,
so you can read reviews posted by other mums of brides who have
actually been to the shop concerned and rated it for customer service,
range, and price. The message board also allows bridal mums to share
their tips and questions.
The site is also retailing an emergency
wedding day kit that all mums can keep in their purses to help prepare
for the unexpected. It includes plasters, safety pins, tights,
confetti, car ribbon, extra strong mints, tissues, nail file and hair
clips. Fiona Wylie, who founded the site, says, 'We rely on our mums so
much in an emergency, so on the biggest day of our ilves, it's good to
know we can rely on her to have every eventuality covered!'
