Don't Tell The Bride, BBC3
When it comes to planning your wedding, are you likely to be a Bridezilla, or a laid-back lady? The true test, of course, if whether you could hand the organisation over to someone else. Many brides do use a wedding planner, but what happens when the job falls to the groom? That's the premise of BBC3's hilarious second series of Don't Tell the Bride, starting on Tuesday 26 August, where six grooms are given the daunting task of organising their fiancees' dream wedding.
In each programme, a young couple in love who can't afford to get married take the ultimate gamble; they'll be given a budget to organise the big day, but must agree to live apart for three weeks and not talk to each other until they meet at the altar.
How well does your husband to be really know you? Can he be trusted to make sure the bridesmaids' dresses match the flowers? Will he buy you the wedding dress of your dreams, or does he have as much taste in clothes as Elton John?
The first episode features 25-year-old Nick and his fiancee Laila, 22. Laila's dream wedding dress would be short, sexy and white. Her least favourite colour is pink. As the photo proves, she may not get quite what she hopes for...but is true love enough to make her walk down the aisle? Tune in to find out!
Don't Tell the Bride is on BBC3 at 9pm on Tuesday 26 August; for a sneak preview, click here.
