Choosing the perfect wedding gift list

The gift company list
Similar to a department store list, these companies specialise in gift
lists. The main benefit is that you can put together a varied list,
with products from different suppliers – from a classic Wedgewood
dinner service to a contemporary piece of art!
Great for: Couples who already live together and are looking for unique
items for their home.
Make time to visit: Wrapit (visit Wrapit)

The alternative list
When it comes to gift lists, the world is your oyster. Why not put
together a wine wedding list, a list of plants and shrubs for your
garden, or even a charity list?
Great for: Couples who have all they need for their home, or who would
like to donate to charity. Make time to visit: Oxfam (visit Oxfam), Berry Bros and Rudd (visit Berry Bros), The Wedding Garden Company (visit The Wedding Garden Company)

The honeymoon list
If you’re dreaming of a fabulous honeymoon but your budget doesn’t
quite stretch far enough, why not ask for honeymoon contributions for
your wedding gift list? Guests could even buy particular treats such as
dinner on the beach, or a diving trip. Great for: Couples who want the
honeymoon of a lifetime.
Make time to visit: Trailfinders (visit Trailfinders), Honey Money (visit Honey Money)

Wendy Harper

Hi. Your article only deals with traditional, high street type stores, I just wondered if anyone had used any of the independent online wedding gift list companies out there and had any recommendations? I have been looking at one called www.presentwise.co.uk which looks very good, but I think it is quite new so wondered if anyone had used them yet? Are there any other ones I should try instead..? Thanks in advance, MWH x

Wendy, I used www.Presentwise.co.uk for my wedding gift list. I informed my guests about the website and give them login details, I must say everything went really smooth. I would recommend everyone who is planning a wedding to do the same.
